Home Health Aide Services
At A Choice Home Health Care, our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) provide support as part of a skilled recovery plan. These visits are designed to be short-term and intermittent, in keeping with Medicare and CHAP guidelines. The goal is to help patients regain independence—not create dependence.
Skilled Home Health Aides provide personal care (such as bathing, grooming, mobility assistance) while a patient is recovering from illness, surgery, or hospitalization.
Their visits are temporary (short-term and intermittent) to support recovery while a family member caregiver is getting trained.
If long-term or extended help is needed, families are encouraged to arrange for a private caregiver or helper, unless a friend or family member can be trained to provide that ongoing support.
This ensures patients receive the right level of care during recovery while maintaining dignity, independence, and safety at home.
